SUMMARY OF DUTIES
As a Trainee Collections Advisor, you will be responsible for engaging with customers over the telephone, but it’s not your ordinary telephone based role! Our role is different from our competitors, you will not be engaging in the same repetitive tasks each day, as a Collections Advisor at BW Legal you will be working on behalf of a number of different clients from different sectors such as parking, financial and utilities, so no one day is the same!

We believe in empowering our Trainee Collections Advisors that’s why we don’t provide scripts and the role is very hands on, where you will be responsible for making the decision on what is the best route in helping our customers achieve a positive outcome on their outstanding debt balance. At BW Legal we go above and beyond for our customers and the priority for our Trainee Collections Advisors is offering quality customer service and support.

Are you are thinking you do not have any experience in Collections or Debt Recovery? Don’t worry, here at BW Legal, we provide all our Trainee Collections Advisors with full training and support to successfully carry out the role!

You will undertake an extensive 6 month training programme that will teach you industry specific knowledge such as legal procedures and financial regulations. You will be guided every step of the way by our experienced trainers and coaches to ensure you become the best Collections Advisor you can be.

Once you move into the BW Legal Academy, you will experience a variety of learning techniques such as mentoring and coaching. In addition, you will be given first class training in soft skills such as communication, conflict resolution and people skills.

Once you graduate from the Academy you will be transferred into your own team where you will continue to be supported by your Team Leader, Supervisor and Senior, so help is always at hand whenever you need it! They will also focus on helping you achieve your career goals and getting you to where you want to be.
