2.3 If you make a payment via our online pages, we will ask you to provide personal information including, but not limited to, the BW Legal reference number to which the payment relates, the cardholder’s name and address, card details such as card number, valid from and expiry date, issue number and security number, as well as the payment value.
2.4 All information given to us through this site will only be held and used with care and in accordance with this statement and the Data Protection Act 1998. All card details are processed via Sage pay, who are our payment service provider.
2.5 We do automatically collect certain non-personally identifiable information when you visit the Site such as the type of browser you are using, the type of operating system you are using, and the domain name of your Internet service provider.
2.6 We use non-personally identifiable information to analyse Site usage (such as aggregated information on the pages you visited), which allows us to improve the design and content of our Site.
2.7 We use personally identifiable information you provide to respond to your enquiry, or, in the case of making online payments, we use personally identifiable information to process and record your payment.
2.8 We will not contact you about other matters, unless you specifically request it, nor will we share, rent, or sell your personally identifiable information outside BW Legal, unless you are making a payment on this site where we may need to share payment details with external companies or organisations you owe monies to.

5.1.3 You agree not to impersonate any other person or entity when making a payment to us and agree to not use any false personal information that is not associated with you.
6.1. The payment will only be deemed successful between you and us once:
6.1.1. You have been through the payment pages and clicked “pay now”.
6.1.2. You will receive an email acknowledgement upon successful payment; which means that your payment has been received by us. This will then be allocated to your balance within 2 working days.
6.2 Non acceptance of a payment may be due to any of the following reasons:
6.2.1 Your card was declined by the bank;
6.2.2 Your account has insufficient funds;
6.2.3 You cancelled your payment;
6.2.4 There was an error in the website;
6.2.5 Your details did not meet our minimum fraud screening requirements; and
6.2.6 The internet connection was lost.
7.1 By ticking the “Confirm Terms and Conditions” box on the page “https://payments.bwlegal.co.uk/MakeAPayment.aspx” you agree to the terms and conditions stated on this page and, if accepted by us, will result in a payment made to BW Legal Services Ltd.
8.1 We employ security measures to prevent unauthorised access to information available on the Site and information that we collect online. However, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information.
