The role:

  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to correspondence & emails and telephone calls received from customers, 3rd parties and internal teams. Work within agreed SLA’s.
  • Ensuring the enquiries are resolved at the first point of contact by adhering with the firms ‘Treating Customers Fairly’ approach
  • Mitigating complaints and ensuring queries are resolved.
  • Entry of key data into case management system

Qualifications and experience:

  • Current or previous experience in a Customer Service environment is desirable
  • Previous experience working in debt recovery/debt management /debt advice role would be desirable but not essential
  • Letter writing experience is desirable
  • Experience of Microsoft Office is desirable
  • Experience of working in a regulated, TCF driven environment is desirable
  • Excellent spelling, punctuation and grammar
  • Demonstrate a strong focus on attention to detail
  • GCSE in English or equivalent is desirable

  • Maintains a professional image/attitude at all times and demonstrates an understanding of the standards required when working within a regulated law firm.
  • Motivated with the ability to work at a fast pace but with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident to make decisions within guidelines provided but awareness to look for advice and support as necessary
  • Well organised, is able to prioritise work and be capable of proactively managing cases
  • Strong team player but is also capable of using initiative and working on own as required
  • Be flexible and not afraid of change. Have the ability to quickly understand new processes and apply these.
